The demo shows the results of United States presidential elections from 2008 to 2020.

How to use

The election year is selected by using the dropdown to the right.
To view historical results from individual states, select the state on the map.
The state is deselected by clicking it again or clicking outside the map.
When no state is selected the national results are shown.

Dashboards components

Custom HTML and Chart for the national results or state results (with pictures and dual-colored bar).
Custom HTML provides a dropdown for the election year and a checkbox to select all states.
Highcharts Maps shows the winning party per state, color-coded Democrat and Republican.
Highcharts Chart shows historical national or state results.
Datagrid shows detailed results of all states.
